Erica LaHood | Reina Linda

Erica was born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas and spent much of her free time competing in equestrian riding and playing soccer. Erica was homeschooled at a young age and her family instilled in her the importance of education and hard work. 

After graduating from Tuloso-Midway High School at 16 years old, Erica used the early graduate scholarship to attend St. Mary’s University in San Antonio. Erica became pregnant with her first child at 19 and moved back to Corpus Christi to finish her Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from A&M Corpus Christi. Erica quickly learned she did not want to work for someone else and she and her brother Ryan started their first business in the Oilfield in 2012. 

Erica met her husband Marc LaHood in 2015 and quickly added three beautiful babies to their family. Their children are Emily 17, Zeke 6, Adara 4, and Myla 2. Erica enjoys giving back to the community and most recently she was elected as vice-chair of the San Antonio Transportation Advisory Board. She has found the balance of work hard, love hard and she is excited to put her passion and hard work to raise money in efforts to help new generations begin their journey in higher education.
