Javier Oliva | Prime Minister

Javier Oliva is a graduate of Antonian College Prep, the University of Notre Dame, St. Mary’s University Graduate School and St. Mary’s University School of Law School. He has been a partner of the law firm of Oliva, Saks, Garcia & Curiel PLLC for over 32 years and a professor of instruction at UTSA teaching in the area of politics and law for over three decades.  

Previous community involvement includes elected city alderman of Castle Hills, and service on the Catholic Charities board, Antonian College Prep School Council, Sendero Ranch HOA board, San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and San Antonio Symphony board. Javier is an active member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church where he serves as a Stephen Minister Leader and attends That Man is You prayer group meetings. 

Javier is married to his high school sweetheart, Suzanne Dapra Oliva, and they have four sons and two grandsons. The Oliva family has a deep history with the Rey Feo Scholarship Foundation. Javier’s father, Dr. Damaso Oliva Sr., was Rey Feo 45 and Javier’s brother, Dr. Damaso Oliva Jr., will be Rey Feo 77. Javier is equally excited to raise funds for scholarships to further the education of children in our community.
